This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Mentor, guide, and lead the sales team with a focus on enhancing partner sales.
• Implement growth strategies within the designated market.
• Drive partner revenue while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
• Recruit, train, guide, and mentor Partner Account Managers.
• Set Key Performance Areas (KPAs), perform performance assessments, oversee career progression, and manage HR-related functions for direct reports.
• Cultivate partner business through face-to-face meetings, lunch-and-learn sessions, webinars, joint customer outreach, cold-calling, and social/networking initiatives.
• Oversee partner and territory assignments to optimize coverage.
• Track weekly team activities, monitor funnel growth, and ensure disciplined Salesforce tracking with precise, timely forecasts.
• Collaborate with Senior Leadership to establish sales targets, budgets, and strategic business plans that align with global objectives.
• Enhance brand reputation and credibility through participation in trade shows and sharing industry news related to Geotab.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on Geotab and Marketplace products.
• Examine the competitive landscape, market trends, and business environment to provide strategic insights to Marketing and Senior Leadership.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, Partner Account Managers, Regional Sales representatives, partners, and clients.
• 5 - 8 years of necessary prior experience in an individual contributor role within a Sales capacity.
• 3 - 5 years of essential supervisory experience in managing and developing team members.
• Willingness to travel 25 - 30% of the time.
• A valid passport is mandatory.
• Experience in the telematics sector is advantageous.
• Strong ability to comprehend technical and business requirements.
• Proven history in generating new sales and accounts.
• Capacity to foresee and understand customer needs, providing effective solutions.
• Exceptional talent in building and maintaining client relationships.
• Demonstrated success in accurate forecasting of account and volume activities, achieving and surpassing targets.
• Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and relationship management abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including comfort in delivering presentations and training.
• Highly organized and capable of managing multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
• Strong analytical skills with the capacity to solve problems and make sound decisions.
• Reliable internet connectivity of at least 50mb DL/10mb UL when working remotely.
