This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

📋 Description

• Take charge of Flywire’s presence in the Irish Higher Education market.

• Strengthen and expand relationships with around 30 Irish Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) and colleges.

• Actively seek and secure new opportunities to ensure comprehensive market coverage.

• Analyze client transaction data to enhance payer adoption and capture rates.

• Create and implement strategic plans for the Ireland territory to meet or surpass revenue objectives.

• Develop and sustain an opportunity pipeline while managing the entire sales cycle from discovery to negotiation and closure.

• Lead responses to tenders and Requests for Proposals (RFPs) within the Irish market.

• Promote the integration of systems with ERPs such as Banner and SITS.

• Conduct regular business reviews to align Flywire’s roadmap with client objectives.

• Ensure contract renewals and safeguard the client base from competitors.

• Relay Irish market needs and trends to the Product and Leadership teams.

• Directly report to the Head of Sales, UK & Ireland.

• Operate independently while acting as a strategic partner to Directors of Finance, International Admissions, and Student Services.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in Sales, Account Management, or Business Development within Ireland.

• Background in selling to the Higher Education sector, particularly from EdTech, FinTech, and/or Payments.

• Established connections at the C-Level across Finance, Admissions, IT, and International departments in major universities and technological universities in Ireland.

• Knowledge of the Higher Education technology stack.

• Specific experience with Tribal SITS or Ellucian Banner and payment integrations is preferred.

• Demonstrated capability to navigate intricate sales cycles.

• Skilled in identifying weaknesses in financial processes and presenting technical solutions to C-level stakeholders.

• Proven ability to pursue new deals while cultivating long-term relationships.

• Capability to work remotely and effectively manage your own schedule.

• MUST reside in Ireland.

• Outstanding presentation and communication skills.

• Proficient in building rapport both virtually and face-to-face.
