This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa, +3 more states.
β’ Oversee the distribution or movement of products or services to customers.
β’ Organize sales distribution by defining sales territories, quotas, and objectives.
β’ Create training programs for sales representatives.
β’ Evaluate sales statistics to assess sales potential and inventory needs.
β’ Monitor customer preferences and trends.
β’ Plan and manage staffing, training, and performance assessments.
β’ Supervise daily operations of the sales team.
β’ Set pricing schedules and discount policies.
β’ Review operational records and analyze sales reports to evaluate profitability.
β’ Prepare budgets and authorize budget expenditures.
β’ Direct and coordinate sales efforts for manufactured products and services.
β’ Consult with prospective customers regarding their product requirements and offer guidance on purchases.
β’ Represent the organization at trade association meetings.
β’ Develop pricing strategies that align with company goals and enhance customer satisfaction.
β’ Conduct economic and commercial analyses to identify new market opportunities.
β’ Identify, formulate, and assess marketing strategies based on company goals, market dynamics, and cost considerations.
β’ Associate degree from a two-year college or technical institution.
β’ Over 5 years of relevant experience in the building industry.
β’ Proficient in quoting, order fulfillment, and delivery processes.
β’ Capability to meet company-directed KPIs related to quoting and order fulfillment, including turnaround time, productivity, and quality.
β’ Experience in defining fulfillment and product metrics and utilizing them for decision-making.
β’ Excellent interpersonal, counseling, and negotiation abilities.
β’ Strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities.
β’ Previous experience in capturing metrics and generating various reports.
β’ Competence in using and training staff on quoting and fulfillment platforms.
β’ Ability to forecast and manage workloads, including prioritizing orders.
β’ Familiarity with shipping practices and logistics providers.
β’ Valid driver's license and passport required for travel.
β’ Willingness to travel domestically approximately 15% of the time.
β’ Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
