Sales Executive Manager – 3rd Party Logistics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Identify, secure, and manage transportation requirements for both new and existing Gampac clients.

• Engage in daily discussions regarding freight routes, pricing, and Gampac service offerings.

• Expand the customer base while enhancing current accounts and transportation options.

• Source and secure freight, carriers, and clients through internet research, prior contacts, website inquiries, and business development leads.

• Discover innovative solutions tailored for customers.

• Cultivate opportunities in collaboration with the Business Development Team.

• Manage and develop smaller assigned accounts by identifying and securing new opportunities.

• Act as the main point of contact for customers, overseeing customer-Gampac relationships.

• Ensure the accuracy of data capture, maintain data integrity, and execute system entries.

• Proactively address customer concerns using analytical skills and problem-solving techniques.

• Generate new customer opportunities through effective prospecting and lead generation.

• Supervise Associates, including the management of scheduling, time tracking, performance evaluations, and training.

• Monitor ongoing shipments and proactively identify, communicate, and address customer issues.

• Assist Accounts Receivable in collecting overdue customer invoices.

• Complete other tasks as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• At least one (1) year of experience in brokerage.

• Fundamental understanding of brokerage operations and geographic freight markets.

• Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) or equivalent professional experience.

• Proven ability to negotiate effectively.

• Established customer and/or carrier network is advantageous.

• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced team environment while also demonstrating independent work initiative.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet scheduled activity deadlines.

• Positive, influential communication abilities.

• Reliability and a solid work ethic are essential.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).

• Exceptional customer service skills, including the capability to meet clients’ needs effectively.

• Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.

• Willingness to travel as required.
