This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.
• Manage the Pacific Northwest territory which includes Washington, Oregon, and Northern California.
• Identify and engage potential K-12 clients, comprising private, charter, and parochial schools.
• Qualify and convert incoming leads into active opportunities within the sales pipeline.
• Lead the sales process from generating leads to closing deals.
• Keep accurate records in Salesforce and ensure a high level of responsiveness.
• Develop the pipeline through prospecting, cold outreach, networking, referrals, and participation in industry events.
• Cultivate relationships with superintendents, school safety leaders, and other key stakeholders.
• Represent CENTEGIX at conferences, trade shows, and educational events.
• Clearly communicate the benefits and value proposition of CENTEGIX products to decision-makers.
• Utilize social media and digital networking platforms to engage decision-makers and create opportunities.
• Work together with regional sales teams and technical support to address customer needs and finalize deals.
• Collaborate with sales team members and strategic partners to cover leads and opportunities while supporting team quotas.
• Share insights and trends from the field with the wider sales team.
• 2 to 5 years of quota-carrying sales experience with a proven record of meeting or surpassing targets, preferably in SaaS, technology, or education sales.
• Experience selling to K-12 districts, public sector, or similar multi-stakeholder purchasers is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with navigating longer sales cycles that involve committee-based decisions.
• Demonstrated full-cycle sales abilities, from cold prospecting and lead generation to presentation, negotiation, and closing.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, capable of engaging and influencing decision-makers from school boards to superintendents.
• Ideally, reside within the Pacific Northwest territory (WA, OR, & N. CA).
• Willingness to travel throughout the region, including regular overnight travel of up to 10% for customer meetings, conferences, and tradeshows.
• Self-motivated and disciplined in a remote home office setting.
• Strong organizational skills with the capability to manage a large geographic territory independently.
• Proficient in using CRM software; experience with Salesforce is preferred.
