This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.
• Propel revenue expansion within a designated territory by marketing DESOTEC’s mobile filter engineered solutions.
• Formulate and implement a strategic sales plan to meet or surpass territory revenue objectives.
• Achieve sales growth for mobile solutions, primarily targeting new customers and new or expansion projects.
• Identify, qualify, and pursue fresh business opportunities in the industrial, environmental, and manufacturing sectors.
• Act as the technical authority on DESOTEC’s mobile filtration systems.
• Provide consultative assistance and recommendations for engineered solutions.
• Conduct on-site customer visits, system evaluations, and technical presentations.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and customer service teams to ensure effective project delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Oversee the entire sales process from opportunity recognition to proposal creation, negotiation, and closing.
• Maintain precise CRM records, forecasts, and activity logs.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, regulations, and competitive technologies related to activated carbon and mobile filtration systems.
• Represent DESOTEC at trade shows, conferences, and industry events as necessary.
• Travel regularly within the designated territory.
• Must reside in the Midwest region, ideally in Wisconsin, Northern Illinois, or Western Indiana.
• A Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) or equivalent from a four-year college or university is required.
• At least 3 years of professional sales experience in water/wastewater processing, hydrocarbon processing, air/gas processing, or emissions control.
• Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting and manage territory travel effectively.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel regionally up to 50–70% depending on the territory.
• A degree or background in Engineering or Chemistry is preferred.
• Familiarity with activated carbon, industrial filtration, environmental remediation, emissions treatment, or related technologies.
• Previous experience supporting environmental, chemical, manufacturing, or industrial clients.
• Experience selling aftermarket or service solutions in industrial markets.
• Working knowledge of commercial terms and conditions to facilitate contract negotiations.
