Sales Engineer, Mechanical Estimating

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Provide expert technical demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients in both virtual and in-person settings.

• Engage with potential buyers to identify and address key business challenges using Trimble software solutions.

• Work closely with consulting, product management, and marketing teams to document operational gaps and improve sales materials.

• Serve as a reliable resource for sales partners.

• Educate and convey a deep understanding of the MEP product suite.

• Propel sales success by advising potential buyers and showcasing how Trimble enterprise solutions enhance construction workflows utilizing AutoBid and VDC.

• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with substantial knowledge in the trades.

• Proficient in AutoBid, Estimation MEP, Fabshop, VDC, or comparable software.

• Understanding of construction practices and methods pertinent to MEP trades.

• Skilled in presenting and persuading mechanical executives, estimators, and project managers.

• Capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.

• Competent in handling confidential information with care.

• Committed to maintaining professional excellence.

• Valid driver's license required.

• Availability to meet travel demands up to 25 percent.

• Experience with an MEP contractor or in a pre-sales engineering or customer success capacity.

• Ability to comprehend customer business challenges and align software solutions accordingly.
