AI Infrastructure Design Engineer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Design and uphold medium-complexity data hall layouts and infrastructure schematics

• Execute rack elevations, cable routing plans, and power and space allocation activities

• Carry out infrastructure evaluations and suggest enhancements for efficiency and scalability

• Collaborate with various teams during implementation and deployment phases

• Resolve design conflicts and aid in troubleshooting efforts

• Ensure that design documentation adheres to company and industry regulations

• Support project deadlines and monitor progress towards milestones

• Assist in mentoring junior engineers and reviewing fundamental design tasks

• Independently manage moderately complex projects

• Contribute to enhancements in processes and technical standards

• Manage multiple simultaneous tasks with minimal supervision

⛳️ Requirements

• Solid grasp of data center infrastructure and design standards

• 2–4 years of relevant experience in data center or telecom infrastructure settings

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and infrastructure documentation practices

• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
