Sales Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Account Executives as the technical authority throughout the sales process, engaging with maintenance, reliability, and operations teams to comprehend customer challenges and needs.

• Conduct consultative discovery sessions, product demonstrations, and technical assessments that highlight Tractian’s condition monitoring, vibration analysis, and predictive maintenance offerings.

• Convert technical insights into quantifiable business results, including minimized downtime, enhanced asset performance, increased uptime, and return on investment.

• Establish credibility with frontline maintenance teams and executive stakeholders by leveraging practical industrial experience and technical knowledge.

• Assist in RFPs, RFIs, proof of concepts, and customer technical discussions while collaborating with Product, Customer Success, and Implementation teams to ensure sustained success.

• Employ CRM tools to manage customer interactions, monitor sales activities, and provide transparency into pipeline development.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.

• Over 3 years of experience in sales engineering, ideally in asset monitoring, IoT, or other technology sectors.

• Strong technical expertise with the capacity to understand and articulate complex technological solutions.

• Demonstrated history of meeting sales objectives in a B2B context.

• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

• Willingness to travel as necessary to engage clients and finalize sales.

• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
