This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Identify, pursue, and cultivate new business prospects within the manufacturing, logistics, and industrial sectors throughout the territory.
• Develop and sustain a robust sales pipeline through outbound prospecting, referrals, participation in industry events, and collaboration with channel partners.
• Evaluate opportunities and prioritize accounts based on likelihood of success and strategic alignment.
• Facilitate discovery discussions regarding customer production challenges, automation objectives, and limitations.
• Convert customer requirements into compelling value propositions that link Standard Bots' hardware, software, and AI solutions to operational results.
• Conduct customized live and virtual product demonstrations.
• Manage the entire sales process from prospecting to closing, which includes proposals, pricing, negotiations, and contracts.
• Collaborate with the Implementation team on projects that necessitate a complete integration approach.
• Keep precise CRM pipeline data, activity records, and deal status updated.
• Foster customer relationships to encourage repeat business, expansions, and referrals.
• Represent Standard Bots at industry events, trade shows, and customer site visits.
• Provide customer feedback to the Regional Sales Manager and product and marketing teams.
• Collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager to establish territory priorities and account strategies.
• Act as the primary contact for customers from initial outreach to closing.
• Lead technical discussions and engage the Implementation team when integration is necessary.
• Report directly to the Regional Sales Manager or Sales Director.
• Candidates must reside within their designated territory in Texas.
• 3-7 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in robotics, industrial automation, capital equipment, or a related technical area.
• Demonstrated history of meeting or surpassing sales quotas and successfully closing deals.
• Capable of leading technical discussions with plant-floor personnel and translating them into business cases for operations leadership.
• Exceptional product demonstration skills and proficiency in addressing objections.
• Self-driven and comfortable working independently in a remote, territory-focused setting.
• Proficient in CRM systems such as Salesforce or similar platforms.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• An established network within the manufacturing, industrial automation, or machine shop sectors in the territory is advantageous.
• Experience in selling complex capital equipment or robotics platforms is a plus.
• Familiarity with applications involving machine tending, palletizing, welding, or assembly automation is an asset.
• Comfort in navigating a factory floor and engaging with production engineers and technicians is beneficial.
• Willingness to travel domestically within the United States up to 50% of the time.
