Sales Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Identify and engage potential clients while nurturing existing accounts.

• Build professional relationships with personnel from purchasing, engineering, manufacturing, and management sectors.

• Offer technical knowledge, conduct product demonstrations, and provide sales support.

• Collaborate with the sales team to develop tailored proposals and solutions.

• Conduct sales presentations and follow up on quotes provided.

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation such as product specifications, installation manuals, and user guides.

• Analyze customer needs and suggest appropriate product or system solutions.

• Travel within the designated territory to meet with customers and troubleshoot issues.

• Provide sales forecasts and territory performance reports to the management team.

• Participate in trade shows and exhibitions to promote products.

• Work in conjunction with product development and engineering teams.

• Address technical challenges, product failures, and service-related issues.

• Collaborate with distributors to foster long-term relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.

⛳️ Requirements

• Background in engineering or experience in an outside/inside sales environment.

• Familiarity with fluid power systems (pneumatics), process automation, and electric automation.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to deliver technical presentations and support sales strategies effectively.

• Self-driven and well-organized.

• Capable of working independently in a remote setting.

• Proficient in MS Office applications.

• Fluent in English.

• Experience in fluid power systems, process automation, or electric automation is strongly preferred.
