This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +2 more states.
• Collaborate with the sales team to assess opportunities, formulate solution strategies, and align technical capabilities with customer business outcomes.
• Facilitate discovery sessions, workshops, and security evaluations within intricate enterprise settings.
• Design and showcase secure architectures that integrate networking, cloud, and SecOps elements.
• Conduct presentations and demonstrations for technical stakeholders and executive decision-makers.
• Act as the primary technical authority during sales cycles for enterprise clients.
• Provide guidance on Zero Trust, SASE, cloud security, and SecOps modernization strategies.
• Establish and nurture long-lasting, trusted relationships with C-level executives and senior leadership.
• Translate technical concepts into business value for discussions at the executive level.
• Assist with deployment transitions alongside professional services, support, and customer success teams.
• Offer roadmap guidance, operational reviews, and strategic check-ins.
• Remain a trusted advisor to enterprise leadership, aligning their evolving needs with solution capabilities.
• 5–8 years of experience in pre-sales or systems engineering roles within enterprise-scale cybersecurity, networking, or cloud environments.
• Strong comprehension of networking principles (LAN/WAN, routing, switching, VPNs, TCP/IP).
• Familiarity with fundamental security protocols (IPSec, TLS/SSL, PKI, SAML, OAuth, RADIUS, etc.).
• Ability to articulate and design SecOps modernization solutions (SIEM, SOAR, XDR).
• Knowledge of Zero Trust and SASE frameworks.
• Understanding of cloud and hybrid security (IaaS, SaaS, containerized workloads).
• Proficiency in identity and access management (MFA, SSO, PAM).
• Exceptional presentation, communication, and storytelling capabilities.
• Proven success in leading architectural discussions and aligning technical solutions with enterprise-level business objectives.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience (preferred).
• Industry certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, NSE, CCNP Security, or AWS Security Specialty (preferred).
• Experience in consulting or advisory roles for large enterprise clients, particularly in discussions at the CISO/CIO level (preferred).
• Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK, NIST CSF, ISO 27001, and SOC 2 (preferred).
