Sales Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Drive additional revenue through intricate sales opportunities that leverage Cyera’s capabilities and integrated value proposition.

• Recognize client business challenges and desired outcomes.

• Design enterprise-wide cloud data security and data risk management solutions utilizing Cyera’s products and services.

• Conduct, manage, and execute proof of values and Use Case Demos at customer locations.

• Consult with essential executive stakeholders.

• Propel sales through technical demonstrations.

• Oversee internal resources through effective cross-functional communication.

• Assist sales in establishing a sustainable, repeatable business model.

• Serve as the technical liaison for Cyera’s expanding partner channel.

• Represent Cyera at marketing events.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience in Cloud, TDR, CASB, DLP, or data security in a Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or comparable technical sales position.

• Strong expertise in one of the three leading cloud provider environments concerning roles/permissions/API; AWS and/or Azure preferred.

• Basic knowledge of networking and databases.

• Strong comprehension of data storage types.

• Fundamental understanding of encryption techniques, key management, cloud IAM, and network design/engineering/protocol.

• Basic knowledge of ML/AI, Data Regulatory Frameworks, Privacy, and Data Retention programs.

• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.

• Capability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Familiarity with SFDC and opportunity tracking.

• Results-driven mentality and the ambition to succeed in a rapidly growing startup environment.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and creative thinking to address customer issues.

• Willingness to travel up to 50% within the assigned territory.

• Preferred certifications include AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Certified Azure Fundamental, AWS Solution Architect, AWS Cloud Security Engineer or Architect, Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Security Engineer Associate, Azure Solutions Architect, and CCSP.
