Sales Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Generate additional revenue through significant, intricate sales opportunities that leverage Cyera’s strengths and comprehensive value offering.

• Recognize client business challenges and desired results, and design solutions for information accessibility using Cyera’s products and services.

• Execute, oversee, and present proof of concepts and Use Case Demos at client locations.

• Collaborate with key executive stakeholders and facilitate sales through technical showcases.

• Coordinate internal resources via cross-functional communication and assist sales in establishing a sustainable, repeatable business model.

• Serve as the technical liaison for the expanding Cyera partner channel.

• Represent Cyera at marketing events.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience in Cloud, TDR, CASB, DLP, or data security in a Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or equivalent technical sales capacity.

• Comprehensive knowledge of one of the three major cloud provider environments concerning roles/permissions/API (preferably AWS and/or Azure).

• Basic experience with networks and databases.

• Strong grasp of data storage types, along with a foundational understanding of encryption techniques, key management, cloud IAM, and network design/engineering/protocol.

• Basic familiarity with ML/AI, Data Regulatory Frameworks, Privacy, and Data Retention programs.

• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the capability to explain complex technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Familiarity with SFDC and opportunity tracking.

• Results-driven attitude and eagerness to excel in a high-growth startup atmosphere.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to think innovatively to tackle customer issues.

• Willingness to travel up to 50% within the designated territory.

• Preferred certifications include AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Certified Azure Fundamental, AWS Solution Architect, AWS Cloud Security Engineer or Architect, Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Security Engineer Associate, Azure Solutions Architect, or CCSP - Certified Cloud Security Professional.
