Sales Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Drive additional revenue through substantial, intricate sales opportunities that leverage Cyera’s capabilities and integrated value proposition.

• Identify business challenges and desired outcomes of clients, while designing information availability solutions utilizing Cyera’s products and services.

• Conduct, manage, and execute proof of value demonstrations and Use Case Demos at customer locations.

• Collaborate with key executive stakeholders and promote sales through technical showcases.

• Coordinate internal resources through cross-functional communication and assist sales in establishing a sustainable, repeatable business model.

• Serve as the technical liaison for the expanding Cyera partner channel.

• Represent Cyera at marketing events.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience in Cloud, TDR, CASB, DLP, or data security within a Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or a similar technical sales capacity.

• Strong expertise in one of the three primary cloud provider environments concerning roles/permissions/API, with a preference for AWS and/or Azure.

• Basic knowledge of networking and databases.

• Solid understanding of various data storage types.

• Fundamental grasp of encryption methods, key management, cloud IAM, and network design/engineering/protocols.

• Basic knowledge of ML/AI, Data Regulatory Frameworks, Privacy, and Data Retention initiatives.

• Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Familiarity with SFDC and opportunity tracking.

• Results-driven attitude with a desire to excel in a rapidly growing startup environment.

• Strong problem-solving capabilities and the creativity to tackle customer challenges.

• Willingness to travel up to 50% within the designated territory.

• Preferred certifications include AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Certified Azure Fundamental, AWS Solution Architect, AWS Cloud Security Engineer or Architect, Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Security Engineer Associate, Azure Solutions Architect, or CCSP.
