This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Increase market share and meet sales objectives for the Gemflex product line within the designated territory.
• Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities with owners, engineering firms, contractors, and other significant stakeholders.
• Advocate for the complete Gemflex Product Catalog and promote product acceptance and specification throughout the region.
• Present Gemflex solutions to engineering offices, design consultants, and contractors to influence specifications and project designs.
• Conduct technical seminars, product demonstrations, and training sessions.
• Offer technical support and guidance throughout the design, selection, and installation phases.
• Maintain a systematic weekly reporting process that includes activity updates, market intelligence, competitive insights, and progress reports.
• Develop and implement territory sales plans that align with company objectives.
• Collaborate with internal sales colleagues across the region.
• Foster relationships with local Gemflex distributors and provide them with product information, pricing, and sales resources.
• Assist distributors with joint sales calls, training, and strategies for pursuing projects.
• Visit job sites to oversee installation practices, provide field training, and ensure correct product use.
• Collaborate with Brecco’s Engineering Department.
• Collect field feedback to enhance product improvement and customer satisfaction.
• A degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Fire Protection, or a related field is preferred).
• Strong technical skills and knowledge of piping systems, fire protection products, or mechanical components.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.
• Willingness to travel extensively (up to 75% of the time) throughout the Northeast region.
• Professional, self-driven, and able to work independently.
• Experience in fire protection, mechanical piping, or construction industries is preferred.
• Familiarity with grooved piping systems, fire codes, and industry standards (NFPA, UL/FM) is preferred.
• Prior experience collaborating with engineering firms, contractors, or distribution networks is preferred.
