This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with Account Executives to secure intricate enterprise deals.
• Conduct in-depth technical analyses, customized demonstrations, and solution presentations for enterprise security teams.
• Execute structured technical assessments of customer security posture, currently utilized tools, and integration requirements.
• Design and confirm solutions tailored to customers, addressing technical, security, compliance, and business needs.
• Act as the main technical lead during pre-sales and assist with deal strategy.
• Respond to inquiries regarding product architecture, detection logic, scalability, data management, and deployment.
• Support pilot programs, proofs of value, and technical validation within customer environments.
• Tackle technical objections and provide guidance on deployment, rollout, and detection tuning strategies.
• Oversee responses to security questionnaires, RFPs, and vendor risk assessments.
• Collaborate with teams from Product, Engineering, Security Research, RevOps, and customer organizations.
• Ensure seamless transitions from pre-sales to post-sales.
• Contribute to the development of pre-sales playbooks, demos, and technical communication.
• Over 5 years of experience in a Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or equivalent pre-sales technical position in B2B cybersecurity.
• Proficient in leading technical discussions with security practitioners, security architects, and CISOs throughout complex sales cycles.
• Solid understanding of contemporary security architecture, including identity, endpoint, network, and cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• In-depth knowledge of SIEM, EDR/XDR, SOAR, and prevalent log sources (CloudTrail, Okta, endpoint telemetry, etc.).
• Familiarity with detection frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK and threat modeling.
• Proficient with APIs, Python, Bash, KQL, SPL, and SQL.
• Capable of conveying complex technical and security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Customer-focused in high-pressure sales situations.
• Comfortable managing multiple deals and stakeholders concurrently.
• Experience in supporting enterprise or technically challenging security sales processes.
• Previous experience as a software engineer is a plus.
• Hands-on background in cybersecurity is advantageous.
• Relevant certifications such as OSCP, GCIA, GCIH, CISSP, or cloud security certifications are desirable.
