This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Mentor new representatives by providing on-campus observation and tailored growth plans.

• Take full ownership of the Year 1 Journey, creating and refining training from the first day through the academic buying cycle in the first year.

• Utilize AI tools and sales activity data to pinpoint skill deficiencies and organizational trends.

• Transform insights into just-in-time training materials.

• Lead the mentorship program and guide mentors to ensure consistent support.

• Organize regular calls with mentors.

• Maintain product and skills certification standards in collaboration with L&D and Product Marketing.

• Collaborate with Regional Managers to monitor each new representative's progress and development.

• Act as the organization's authority on sales enablement tools and their application at Macmillan.

• Report directly to the VP of Sales.


⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5+ years of experience in sales, sales training, or sales enablement, preferably in EdTech, publishing, or SaaS.

• Proven success in coaching or onboarding new sales talent.

• Experience in assessing, implementing, and promoting the use of sales enablement tools.

• Familiarity with AI tools for content generation, data analysis, or personalized learning.

• Background in developing or delivering structured training programs, ideally based on learning science or instructional design principles.

• Excellent cross-functional collaboration abilities with L&D, Regional Managers, mentors, and Product Marketing teams.

• Knowledge of Salesforce and sales enablement tools.

• A college degree.

• Willingness to engage in significant travel and conduct field work within the territory.

• Agreement to undergo a criminal background check (CBC) and motor vehicle record (MVR) check.

• Must possess a valid driver's license and be open to driving for business purposes.

• Availability to work over 40 hours per week when necessary.
