This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa, +9 more states.
• Cultivate and enhance relationships with mid-market employers that have between 750 and 5,000 employees.
• Generate new business opportunities and establish long-term partnerships.
• Identify, develop, and finalize opportunities throughout the territory, from initial outreach to signed contracts.
• Present comprehensive cancer and condition management strategies as part of employer health initiatives.
• Collaborate with Consultant Relations, Marketing, Sales Development, and Ecosystem Partnerships on customized proposals and deal finalization.
• Maintain a precise, forward-looking sales forecast by analyzing market trends, pipeline health, and competitive factors.
• Achieve or surpass annual sales objectives and performance benchmarks.
• Provide market insights and competitive intelligence to leadership to guide strategy, product development, and market entry tactics.
• Represent Color at industry events and conferences.
• Work closely with account management and customer success teams to ensure seamless transitions, identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities, and enhance post-sale client relationships.
• Oversee the entire sales cycle as an individual contributor, which includes sourcing opportunities, assisting customers with complex decisions, nurturing relationships, and closing deals with employer partners.
• Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time.
• 5 to 7+ years of specialized B2B sales experience focused on mid-market employers within the designated region.
• Profound understanding of the sales process and the ability to close complex deals in a highly competitive landscape.
• Proven sales track record with consistent achievement of 100% quota attainment for the last 3+ years.
• Experience in closing deals worth $500K+ with mid-market employers.
• Familiarity with customer and reporting requirements.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Must be open and able to travel frequently, occasionally on short notice.
• Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree is a plus.
• Candidates residing within the specific territory are preferred.
• Must have the unrestricted right to work in the United States for any employer.
• 5+ years of B2B sales experience in digital health, healthcare, or employee benefits solutions directed at mid-market employers.
• Experience managing the entire sales cycle, including prospecting, opportunity development, negotiation, and closing new employer business.
• Significant experience collaborating with health benefits consultants or brokers to implement solutions for employer clients.
• Experience in selling to employers in ND, SD, WI, MN, NE, MO, IA, TN, KY, or KS.
