Sales Director – Life Sciences

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Oversee regional sales managers

• Establish annual unit and gross-profit objectives by executing marketing strategies and analyzing trends and outcomes

• Formulate and implement strategic plans to meet sales targets

• Set and communicate sales objectives while keeping C-level executives updated on progress

• Foster and maintain robust, long-term customer relationships while understanding their business goals and requirements

• Stay informed about industry-specific trends and environments

• Articulate value propositions through presentations and proposals

• Report on factors influencing account strategic directions and budget allocations

• Project and develop annual sales quotas for various regions and territories

• Anticipate expected sales volumes and profits for both existing and new products

• Execute JR Automation sales initiatives through field sales action plans

• Monitor evolving trends, economic indicators, competitors, and supply and demand dynamics to sustain sales volume

• Schedule and delegate tasks to employees while following up on performance outcomes

• Provide guidance and disciplinary measures to employees

• Plan, oversee, and evaluate job performance

• Enhance professional and technical expertise through workshops, publications, networks, and professional organizations

• Contribute to team objectives by achieving related results

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, calculated as two (2) years of relevant work experience for each year of academic study

• MBA is preferred

• Current or previous experience with JR Automation, or in the automation industry, is highly desirable

• Successful completion of a 10-panel drug screen, physical examination, and background check is mandatory
