This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.
• Identify, target, and cultivate new revenue streams within the Critical Power/UPS sector.
• Establish and nurture relationships with potential clients, industry partners, and key stakeholders.
• Guide the sales process from initial contact through proposal creation, negotiation, and contract finalization.
• Collaborate with internal teams on pricing strategies, service offerings, and tailored customer proposals.
• Manage RFP submissions, quotations, presentations, bids, and marketing collateral.
• Understand customer needs and align Pearce's services and capabilities with their operational and technical requirements.
• Analyze and relay contractual, technical, and commercial requirements internally to support bidding strategies.
• Deliver presentations to customers and articulate Pearce’s value proposition to executive-level audiences.
• Assist in strategic sales initiatives to broaden market presence and expand the customer base.
• Engage in industry conferences, networking events, and customer-facing activities.
• Collaborate across functions with operations, finance, leadership, and subject matter experts.
• Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive activities within the Critical Power/UPS field.
• Over 5 years of proven success in sales, business development, or account management.
• Experience in Critical Power, UPS, electrical infrastructure, telecom, HVAC, generator services, or similar technical sectors is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to generate new business, increase revenue, and close complex sales deals.
• Experience in crafting and presenting customer proposals, RFP submissions, quotations, and sales presentations.
• Capable of clearly communicating company value propositions through written, verbal, and presentation methods.
• Proven success in cross-functional and multi-division settings with executives, operations, finance, and technical experts.
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to guide customer discussions through to contract completion.
• Competence in interpreting customer requirements and converting them into strategic service solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Self-driven, engaging, and proactive professional with strong organizational and relationship-building abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting while coordinating across various time zones.
• Experience in industry events, networking, and customer engagement activities is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems, proposal development tools, and sales reporting platforms is preferred.
• Must reside near San Francisco or Northern Virginia.
