This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Engage in outside sales focused on providing electrical and controls engineering as well as project management services.
• Market solution repair services and new equipment to end users, contractors, OEMs, and engineering firms.
• Spearhead all sales initiatives within the designated territory, fostering organic growth among existing clients while acquiring new customers to achieve an annual sales target of $50M.
• Conduct direct sales and business development activities to meet or surpass established sales objectives.
• Formulate a sales strategy for the company’s engineering and controls division.
• Assist in preparing estimates, sales proposals, and presentations.
• Regularly visit assigned accounts to nurture strategic relationships and identify account changes and opportunities.
• Continuously enhance industry and technical knowledge in response to market demands.
• Participate in road shows, national conferences, trade shows, sales training, trade organizations, and other sales engagement efforts.
• Manage customer accounts from the sales process through to purchase orders, terms and conditions, and customer relations.
• Conduct job walks and serve as the primary contact between sales and production to evaluate opportunities.
• Facilitate lunch-and-learn sessions and lead discussions with customers.
• Collaborate with Customer Service to improve the customer purchasing experience.
• Oversee a team of 4 business development managers.
• Travel 50% within the United States.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience in industrial service sales related to engineering consulting and project management services.
• Familiarity with automation and control systems (PLC, DCS, SCADA, HMI), Industrial Networks, Low and Medium voltage systems, Electrical Construction Work Packages, Commissioning/Start-ups, and Power Systems (including arc flash and coordination).
• At least 3 years of experience in a related field.
• High-energy, goal-driven team player with outstanding internal and external communication skills, forecasting abilities, and solution selling expertise.
• Preferred knowledge in sectors such as agri-food, power generation, oil and gas, mining, and petrochemicals.
• Prefer experience in sales and/or production within Construction, outage, and project management.
• Consultative engineering capabilities.
• Proficiency in detailed engineering and design.
• Experience in NERC program management and testing services.
• Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Willingness to travel 50% domestically.
