This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +3 more states.
• Enhance and implement sales strategies to achieve business objectives within the Western territory.
• Cultivate account managers and applications engineers to improve their sales capabilities, business insight, and product expertise.
• Set performance metrics and assess the effectiveness of assigned sales account managers, regional technical sales personnel, channel partners, manufacturers’ representatives, and programs.
• Aid in pricing decisions by leveraging market intelligence, competitive insights, and feedback from the market, customers, and partners.
• Identify, recruit, onboard, and manage resellers and industry influencers in the designated territory.
• Engage in joint sales activities, promote marketing initiatives, conduct training sessions and product demonstrations, participate in trade shows, and exemplify effective sales practices.
• Contribute to channel marketing initiatives and develop sales tools aimed at increasing channel revenue.
• Analyze, refine, and implement business strategies effectively.
• Create, execute, and maintain a regional showroom strategy.
• Develop and sustain forecasting reports, providing regular and precise updates to leadership.
• Relay market and product information to the business leadership team.
• A bachelor’s degree in business or a related field, or equivalent experience is preferred.
• A minimum of five years of technology sales leadership experience is required, including at least three years in proAV.
• Previous sales experience with LED and LCD displays and large flat panels is preferred.
• Experience in proAV sales through the integration channel is preferred.
• Proven track record of success in selling and forecasting sales within the territory is required.
• Strong oral, written, and presentation skills are necessary.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required.
• Prior experience with Salesforce.com is preferred.
• Familiarity with modern productivity and communication tools such as Skype, social media, and telepresence is preferred.
• Ability to achieve results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment is required.
• This role is based in the Western US.
• Must be able to perform essential job functions in accordance with ADA, FMLA, and relevant federal, state, and local regulations, including qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
• Must maintain regular and punctual attendance in line with applicable standards.
• Physical ability to utilize computer hardware and software is required.
• Capable of lifting up to 30 lbs., enduring long hours at a computer keyboard, and standing or walking for extended periods.
• Travel is required for 60–80% of the time.
