This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Oversee all sales and marketing initiatives for Milliman's Vehicle Telematics Practice.
• Formulate and implement go-to-market strategies for vehicle telematics products and consulting services.
• Drive direct sales initiatives and foster revenue growth and market expansion.
• Develop and manage a pipeline of qualified opportunities throughout the sales cycle.
• Enhance sales processes, tools, and performance management practices.
• Identify target markets, regions, and customer segments.
• Lead the creation and prioritization of marketing materials, messaging, and campaigns.
• Collaborate with consultants, product leaders, and strategic alliance partners to launch telematics solutions in the market.
• Participate on the practice leadership team to influence strategy, operations, investments, and business growth.
• Recruit, nurture, and manage sales and marketing professionals.
• Represent Milliman at client meetings, industry events, conferences, and strategic partnerships.
• A minimum of 5 years of successful direct sales experience, ideally in the insurance, technology, analytics, or data solutions sectors.
• Solid understanding of vehicle telematics, connected vehicle technologies, fleet management, logistics, or related industries.
• Proven track record of selling technology-driven solutions, preferably in data, analytics, SaaS, or insurance technology products.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new products, services, or business ventures.
• Experience in collaborating with or leading marketing initiatives to enhance brand awareness, generate demand, and drive revenue growth.
• History of achieving or surpassing sales targets and delivering quantifiable business outcomes.
• Strong skills in business development, relationship management, negotiation, and client-facing communication.
• Preferred experience as part of a business leadership or management team contributing to strategic planning and growth initiatives.
• Preferred experience in recruiting, hiring, developing, and managing sales and marketing talent.
• Preferred experience within a startup, high-growth business, or entrepreneurial setting.
• Capability to function effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment while balancing strategic planning with practical execution.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Economics, Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field is required.
• A Master's degree in Business Administration or a related discipline is preferred.
