This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of Flywire’s presence in the Irish Higher Education sector.

• Propel growth within the Irish Higher Education market.

• Safeguard and enhance strategic client partnerships.

• Establish a targeted pipeline of new opportunities.

• Collaborate with Client Success, Solutions Consulting, Product, and Implementation teams.

• Assist institutions in boosting payment adoption and enhancing retention.

• Identify chances to modernize payment workflows via integrations with student information systems.

• Actively seek and secure new opportunities within the Irish Higher Education and college landscape.

• Analyze client transaction data to pinpoint capture-rate discrepancies.

• Implement strategies to position Flywire as the primary or exclusive payment solution for international receivables.

• Create and execute a strategic territory plan for Ireland.

• Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities.

• Oversee the entire sales cycle from discovery to negotiation and closure.

• Ensure Salesforce data integrity.

• Lead and manage tender submissions and RFPs for the Irish market.

• Encourage the adoption of integrations with ERPs such as Banner and SITS.

• Conduct regular business reviews with clients.

• Secure contract renewals and defend the client base against competition.

• Continuously demonstrate value, ROI, and payment security.

• Represent the perspectives of the Irish customer internally and provide market insights to Product and Leadership teams.

• Report directly to the Senior Vice President, EDU, EMEA.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in Sales, Account Management, or Business Development in Ireland.

• A focus on selling to the Higher Education sector, particularly in EdTech, FinTech, and/or Payments.

• Established connections at the C-Level across Finance, Admissions, IT, and International departments in major universities and technological universities in Ireland.

• Familiarity with the Higher Education technology ecosystem.

• Specific experience with Tribal SITS or Ellucian Banner and payment integrations is highly advantageous.

• Proven capability to navigate intricate sales cycles.

• Ability to identify gaps in financial processes and propose technical solutions to C-level stakeholders.

• Skilled in hunting for new deals while nurturing long-term client relationships.

• Capable of working remotely and managing one’s own schedule efficiently.

• Must reside in Ireland.

• Outstanding presentation and communication abilities.

• Proficient in building rapport both virtually and face-to-face.
