Sales Development Representative – Entry Level

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Increase point-of-sale sales at the store level within a designated territory

• Provide training to store associates on Generac’s range of products

• Address inquiries from consumers and professionals purchasing Generac items

• Offer support to the dealer channel for specific retail customer SF&I programs

• Collaborate with retailer field leadership to generate ideas that enhance the Generac brand across stores

• Propel incremental sales growth across various retail accounts

• Assist customers in choosing products by leveraging knowledge of product applications and specifications

• Implement new in-store initiatives with retail field leadership to boost awareness and sales

• Work alongside store management to execute planograms and ensure accurate stock levels of portable generators and home standby units

• Cultivate and sustain relationships with store managers, key decision-makers, and relevant personnel

• Keep sales activities, customer interactions, and market conditions updated in Salesforce

⛳️ Requirements

• Entry-level position

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

• Valid driver's license

• Willingness to travel locally up to 75% of the time

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

• Effective presentation skills for both small and large audiences

• Strong problem-solving abilities

• Capacity to work independently

• Ability to make decisions that are in the best interest of both the customer and the company

• Capability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize activities based on importance and urgency

• Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

• Familiarity with CRM software

• Readiness to travel frequently within the assigned region

• Ability to talk and hear; manipulate objects or controls with hands; stand and walk

• Capacity to occasionally stoop, bend, reach above shoulder height, and lift up to 25 pounds

• Ability to perform frequent and continuous computer-based tasks requiring sitting, close vision, and focus adjustment
