Sales Development Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Assist a Senior Sales Executive within an entry-level salaried sales position

• Engage on a daily basis with potential healthcare clients

• Initiate contact with customers and prospects

• Support follow-up initiatives that lead to new business prospects

• Arrange conference calls and meetings for the VP of Sales

• Cultivate a strong understanding of the healthcare sector

• Conduct research on potential prospects

• Develop strategic outreach initiatives in collaboration with the Vice President of Sales

• Perform cold calling and emailing to set up meetings and conference calls

• Identify and focus on prospective ED Medical Directors, CMOs, and other healthcare leaders

• Communicate with potential clients via email and phone

• Reach weekly, monthly, and quarterly goals for scheduling meetings

• Prepare background information and market analysis for sales meetings

• Manage follow-up activities post-sales meetings and assist in the new customer sales process

• Maintain an internal database to track key performance indicators and sales and marketing activities

• Oversee calendaring, logistics, and administrative tasks for the Vice President of Sales

• Handle special projects as required

• Collaborate with Sales, Sales Operations, Product, and Marketing teams

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

• Experience in customer service

• Background in collaborative team environments

• Sales or fundraising experience

• Excellent communication skills

• Demonstrated ability to meet and surpass goals

• Proficient in communication via email and phone

• Capable of overcoming challenges or obstacles in real-time

• Strong attention to detail
