This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Qualify incoming sales inquiries and identify subsequent actions and resources.
• Arrange meetings and transfer qualified prospects to the appropriate sales team members.
• Maintain relationships with prospects and work towards closing business when suitable.
• Cultivate opportunities in “fly over” markets to finalize deals when appropriate.
• Develop targeted prospecting campaigns via phone and email outreach.
• Record and uphold prospect status, data accuracy, and interaction logs in Salesforce.
• Collaborate with Regional Sales Directors to create prospect-targeting strategies.
• Generate reports and dashboards visualizing the activities of the Commercial team.
• Provide monthly updates on key performance indicators related to the new business pipeline.
• Continuously enhance lead generation processes and reports for the Commercial team.
• Conduct focused market research and document insights in Salesforce.
• Complete special assignments for the Commercial Team as directed by the Director of Sales.
• Utilize Salesforce, Govspend, AI-driven prospecting tools, and other resources to build targeted account and contact lists, and execute outbound campaigns.
• Maintain a consistent prospecting routine across phone, email, and social media channels.
• Collaborate with Regional Sales Directors regarding target accounts, messaging, and territorial priorities.
• Discover innovative methods to generate and schedule qualified meetings for Regional Sales Directors.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in sales, sales development, marketing, account management, or customer service.
• Experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with high-volume outbound calling and emailing.
• Ability to accurately and swiftly gather and synthesize information from various sources, including for report preparation.
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and possesses advanced Google research skills.
• Proven capability of quickly learning new software.
• Prior experience with Salesforce or a different CRM; experience in generating Salesforce reports is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Power BI or other analytical tools is a plus.
• Experience using sales engagement/prospecting platforms like Govspend and AI-driven tools is beneficial.
• Experience prospecting within government or public sector accounts is highly preferred.
• Understanding of government/public sector procurement processes is a plus.
• Experience in a similar software/tech environment is highly regarded.
• Background in parking is considered an asset but is not necessary.
• A post-secondary degree is an asset but not mandatory.
