This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +19 more states.
• Formulate prospecting strategies that are customized for particular accounts or regions.
• Work in conjunction with the sales team to cultivate a pipeline within the designated area.
• Create and execute campaigns, improve the campaign library, and collaborate with Sales & Marketing.
• Engage in cold outbound prospecting to expand existing customer relationships and present Splunk’s offerings to new prospects.
• Recognize relevant projects and initiatives for the assigned accounts.
• Convey the significance of account initiatives and illustrate how Splunk delivers valuable solutions.
• Generate pipeline, communicate, and present account plans effectively.
• Investigate and categorize accounts into strategic segments.
• Forge new relationships within the assigned territories.
• Actively participate as a vital member of the account team and assist in the customer purchasing process.
• Over 2 years of proven experience in selling or generating pipelines for technology solutions.
• Familiarity with Account-Based Marketing (ABM) is advantageous.
• Capability to implement specific solutions that address customer challenges and fulfill desired results.
• Experience in managing a sales pipeline and overseeing sales activities, customer interactions, and key indicators.
• Proficient in developing and executing account planning strategies.
• Ability to identify key decision-makers, comprehend customer needs, and customize sales approaches accordingly.
• Skill in delivering clear messaging that communicates the value of SaaS solutions.
• Competence in assessing the likelihood of prospects becoming customers.
• Proven success in prospecting through industry knowledge and market intelligence.
• Flexibility in adapting to changing circumstances and priorities.
• Resilience in managing rejection and overcoming challenges.
• Strong collaboration skills with prospects, customers, partners, and team members.
