This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.
• Oversee a sales territory that encompasses Chain Grocery Stores, Walmart, and Independent Stores.
• Meet key performance indicators (KPIs) such as call frequency, daily calls, and display setups.
• Build essential skills in front-line sales, merchandising, tool utilization, and KPI achievement.
• Fulfill store call requirements, which include verifying pricing and distribution, scanning for out-of-stocks and low inventory, replenishing inventory, reviewing promotions, gathering store insights, and creating incremental displays.
• Utilize the Store Call Database (SCDB) and other resources for tracking and reporting purposes.
• Prepare district reports, including store audits, out-of-stock evaluations, and expense documentation.
• Establish and maintain customer relationships through consistent store visits and engagement with store staff.
• Address any issues or discrepancies that arise.
• Gain experience by interning with Business Development Managers, Sales Representatives II, and sales support teams.
• Observe account calls and contribute to call preparation, execution, and follow-up.
• Engage in corporate and functional skill-development training throughout the Sales Operations rotation.
• Implement training insights in everyday responsibilities.
• Progress through rotations that may include Category Management/Sales Analytics and potentially Business Development/Account Sales.
• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Sales, Marketing, or a related field is required.
• Coursework in analytics is preferred.
• 1-2 years of sales and analytical experience is desirable.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, follow-through, business acumen, analytical abilities, curiosity, decision-making, customer service, attention to detail, professionalism, and relationship-building skills are essential.
• Must be able to work independently; a self-starter with intrinsic motivation is necessary.
• Willingness to relocate multiple times is required.
• Ability to think quickly and adapt is important.
