This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada, +1 more country.
• Assess, qualify, prioritize, and direct marketing-generated leads based on qualification criteria, sales coverage, and follow-up expectations.
• Perform research on prospects and accounts.
• Assist in executing strategic outbound campaigns, product launches, and follow up with participants from webinars, tradeshows, and other campaigns.
• Ensure CRM data hygiene and quality for leads, contacts, accounts, activities, and onboarding information.
• Detect CRM duplicates and data inconsistencies while aiding in the cleanup of account/contact data.
• Support reporting and data validation efforts to enhance sales execution.
• Track lead development and sales engagement activities to pinpoint routing problems, ownership conflicts, stalled opportunities, and follow-up shortcomings.
• Collaborate with Account Managers, Business Development, Sales Management, Marketing Operations, and other stakeholders to route opportunities effectively and resolve process challenges.
• Facilitate customer onboarding through initial account setup, eCommerce platform adoption, and first-order processes.
• Monitor onboarding progress and identify potential improvements in processes.
• Implement sales development and commercial operations projects that aid in lead generation, customer acquisition, eCommerce adoption, data quality, and process enhancement.
• Engage in sales, marketing, and product training.
• Represent the organization at conferences and industry events as necessary.
• Assist with special projects that support revenue growth and eCommerce initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and enhance triage, routing, and follow-up procedures.
• Bachelor's Degree in Science, Business, Communications, Marketing, or relevant industry experience.
• 1–2 years of prior sales or sales development experience, along with a keen interest in business and/or marketing.
• Demonstrated research skills with the capability to filter essential information.
• Ability to follow directions, work autonomously, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Previous experience with Salesforce is considered an asset.
• Comfortable communicating with customers via phone and other channels.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• High level of integrity and a strong commitment to contributing to a successful company.
• Previous experience in sales development, sales operations, marketing operations, revenue operations, customer onboarding, or commercial analytics is preferred.
