Sales Consultant – Pooled Plans

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct research on each prospect and collaborate with the Pooled Plan team to develop strategies for pooled plan sales and expansion.

• Oversee pricing activities, which include fund research, fund mapping, and special pricing arrangements for large not-for-profit and corporate clients.

• Manage the pooled plan RFP and RFI processes; review, assess, and recommend modifications for complex prospects.

• Engage in final presentations, strategize and position offerings, prepare pricing and client demographic summaries, suggest content revisions, and supervise presentation assembly.

• Provide insights on strategies necessary to secure specific deals.

• Assist producers by addressing product inquiries, preparing proposals and pricing quotes, conducting educational calls, and managing “B&C” producer relationships.

• Support Sales Executive partners with inquiries, Point of Sale documentation, co-branded sales materials, monitoring new-business installations, and status communications.

• Oversee post-sales activities, including sale announcements, fund lineup and mapping, and coordination with the client integration team.

• Participate in initial internal and external transition calls.

• Serve as a subject matter expert on pooled plans regarding retirement plan installation processes and systems, defined-contribution product provisions, data collection, troubleshooting, inquiries, and problem resolution.

• Analyze competitors and provide strategic insights on product offerings and market trends.

• Monthly contact with intermediaries concerning new prospects, business strategies, and referrals.

• Manage advisor payments and compliance reporting.

• Ensure the integrity of Salesforce data and facilitate team updates.

• Oversee FINRA compliance files.

• Manage Quality Indicators for Pooled Plans.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.

• A minimum of three years of experience in retirement plans within the mid to large market ($10,000,000 to $2,000,000,000) is essential.

• Experience with large, complex, custom-designed plans is necessary.

• Strong investment knowledge, including the ability to assess funds and their performance, is required.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are needed to effectively engage with a diverse range of internal and external customers and prospects.

• Strong presentation and interpersonal skills are essential.

• Demonstrated ability to take initiative, work independently, and manage workflow in the Regional Office is a must.

• FINRA Series 6 or 7 and 63 licenses are required, or must be obtained within six months of hire date.

• Proficient computer skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Adobe, Outlook, FreeERISA.com, etc., are essential.

• RPA designation is preferred, including CEBS 3, 4, and 7, or an advanced retirement plan designation such as CRPS or CRPC.

• A Life License is required.
