
Sales Consultant – Multi-Family, Aftermarket

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Advocate for the Allegion experience and drive change with key influencers in the multifamily property sector.
• Conduct direct outreach to property owners and managers.
• Align resources and partners at Allegion to guarantee project execution and an exceptional customer experience.
• Collaborate on architectural tasks, programming, and the installation of control locks, as well as work with multifamily-focused PACS.
• Engage in networking at industry events, associations, and exhibitions to cultivate relationships with influencers and end-users.
• Observe local market trends and provide insights to multifamily teams regarding market strategies.
• Recognize gaps in products and solutions, collaborating with teams to prioritize product development and technological advancements.
• Identify properties that are ready for upgrades and convert them to Allegion solutions.
• Partner with RSO teammates and channel partners to drive lock and software sales.
• Collaborate with the national multifamily team on portfolio opportunities.
• Develop a pipeline of prospective customers and revenue for aftermarket growth.
• Align sales strategies with regional revenue and profit objectives.
• Oversee budget and expenses to enhance operating profitability.
• Utilize the CRM tool for market engagement, opportunity management, call reporting, and customer relations.
• Leverage social media to stay informed about industry developments.
• Employ a consultative selling and listening strategy to effectively position Allegion products and solutions.
• Adhere to Allegion policies, guidelines, and procedures, while embodying the company's core values.
• A High School Diploma is required.
• A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of sales or industry experience is required.
• Experience in the multifamily vertical market is preferred.
• Background in door hardware, electronic access, or security solution industries is preferred.
• Capability to thrive in a team-oriented selling environment.
• Skill in fostering internal partnerships.
• Willingness to travel 50%, including occasional overnight trips.
• Residency within the Greater Charlotte, NC or Greater Raleigh, NC area is a must.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
