Sales Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Promote and sell the Company's interior and exterior products and services to clients.

• Conduct sales visits outside the office, mainly at customer residences and trade exhibitions.

• Evaluate customer requirements and provide personalized product suggestions.

• Create and negotiate customized pricing proposals.

• Share information on warranties and financing alternatives.

• Ensure and enhance profitability.

• Finalize sales contracts and related documentation.

• Measure using industry-standard techniques to meet installation requirements.

• Actively seek and acquire new clients within designated THD stores and at industry events.

• Travel to assigned retail locations and foster relationships with store management and staff.

• Train store associates on HDIS offerings and promote awareness of HDIS programs.

• Request referrals and participate in sales and team meetings at stores.

• Report directly to the Sales Manager; no direct reports involved.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

• Previous experience in in-home or virtual sales is preferred.

• Background in the home improvement sector is preferred.

• Experience in successful lead generation is preferred.

• Proficient in using computers and applications, along with various technologies (email, iPad, apps, etc.).

• High school diploma and/or GED required.

• A minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience.

• Previous leadership experience is not required.

• Must be able to stand or walk continuously and regularly lift, handle, or carry materials or equipment weighing moderate amounts (8–20 pounds).

• Overnight travel is typically required about 5% of the time.
