This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +16 more states.

📋 Description

• Assist with the complete administration of sales compensation, which encompasses monthly and quarterly incentive calculations, preparation of payouts, and processing of true-ups.

• Verify source data from CRM and finance systems, reconcile outcomes, and highlight any discrepancies prior to payout runs.

• Manage and operate data within sales compensation tools, involving data entry, testing, and escalation of issues.

• Keep documentation updated for compensation plans, calculation methodologies, and standard operating procedures.

• Aid in audit and reconciliation efforts to ensure data accuracy, compliance, and adherence to plans.

• Generate attainment and earnings reports for Sales leadership and Finance collaborators.

• Support ad-hoc compensation analyses, scenario modeling, and management of exceptions.

• Assist in calculating bonus plans related to outside sales incentives, including validation and audit checks.

• Assess the quality of compensation data and escalate any inconsistencies or risks identified.

• Identify inefficiencies in processes and suggest enhancements.

• Take on additional responsibilities as expertise develops.


⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree is required.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in finance, compensation, or a related analytical position.

• Knowledge of sales compensation administration and the mechanics of incentive plans is essential.

• Familiarity with sales compensation tools such as Performio, Everstage, Spiff, CaptivateIQ, or similar platforms.

• Capability to learn new tools as necessary.

• Proficient in Excel and/or Google Sheets.

• Comfortable handling large datasets and conducting reconciliations.

• Exceptional attention to detail with a structured, process-oriented mindset.

• Ability to work with a moderate level of autonomy on familiar tasks while seeking assistance for new or complex assignments.

• Strong communication skills; capable of presenting findings at the team level.

• A growth mindset and a commitment to continuous learning in compensation concepts, tools, and processes.

• A data-driven, numbers-first approach.

• Commitment to ownership of assigned tasks and delivering accurate results by deadlines.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with peers, Sales partners, and Finance stakeholders.

• Must be eligible to work remotely in one of the approved U.S. states: California, Colorado, Idaho, Illinois, Florida, Georgia, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Jersey, Nevada, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas, Utah, or Washington.
