Sales Business Development Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Establish direct relationships with partners and collaborate with extended teams to drive the Mid-Market partner strategy.

• Create new sales opportunities, manage renewals, and drive joint demand generation in Mid-Market regions.

• Maintain an in-depth understanding of Cisco’s product offerings and industry developments.

• Communicate the “One Cisco Story” and guide strategic execution.

• Lead partner-facing engagements and spearhead strategic initiatives with channel partners and distributors.

• Work together with Scale theater leaders to define and activate focus partners in Velocity.

• Coordinate joint demand generation and business development activities.

• Collaborate with Velocity AE, SMB AE, and PAM teams to oversee opportunities and nurture relationships.

• Attend in-person customer meetings as necessary.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, partner business development, or channel management within a similar or related industry.

• Demonstrated history of consistently meeting or exceeding KPIs and revenue targets at or above 100%.

• Capability to influence and collaborate across Marketing, Engineering, Sales, and Channel teams.

• Experience in developing and implementing strategic account plans or partner development strategies that result in measurable pipeline growth or territory expansion.

• Experience overseeing the complete sales cycle from start to finish (preferred).

• Strong skills in relationship management (preferred).

• Familiarity with digital selling tools (preferred).
