Sales Associate, Trauma – Johnson & Johnson MedTech, Orthopaedics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver clinical and customer support in hospital settings and during procedures.

• Assist with customer service, sales logistics, technical expertise, and product knowledge.

• Help achieve sales targets, manage cases, and nurture relationships with surgeons and accounts within a designated territory.

• Retain current customers and enhance engagement with new clients while supporting product transitions.

• Meet established sales objectives and market share goals within the assigned area.

• Guide and assist surgeons in the operating room utilizing clinical and product expertise.

• Present and demonstrate DePuy Synthes products, ensuring their proper use.

• Attend surgeries to guarantee the availability and functionality of equipment.

• Optimize instrument trays and offer consultation to the Operating Room and Sterile Processing Department.

• Troubleshoot issues, provide technical support, manage hospital billing, and create/close purchase orders.

• Share insights regarding customers, procedures, and market trends with sales, clinical, marketing, and strategic account teams.

• Prepare sales reports and necessary documentation.

• Maintain, track, and deploy equipment and assets across the assigned region.

• Oversee promotional materials and ensure that services and offerings adhere to quality standards.

• Prioritize customer satisfaction and retention while communicating the value propositions of DePuy Synthes.

• Distinguish products from competitors through unique insights from customers.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree, or Associate Degree or Medical Certification (CST, PT, etc.) along with a minimum of 2 years of professional or related experience, or at least 4 years of professional or related experience, or a recent transition from Active Military Duty.

• Capability to work in a lab or operating room environment.

• Valid driver's license issued in the United States.

• Willingness to travel, including weekends and/or overnight trips.

• Residency in or readiness to relocate to the specified territory.

• Required strong interpersonal communication, negotiation, influence, strategic thinking, problem-solving, and business acumen skills.

• Must be efficient, organized, self-motivated, positive, and proactive.

• Preferred strong technical product knowledge of surgical instruments, procedures, protocols, and solutions.

• If under 18, may require necessary working papers or additional documentation as mandated by state law, along with parental consent for background checks.
