This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee, guide, and cultivate a team of 4 Regional Business Directors, ensuring their regional teams (around 8 sales representatives per region) effectively implement the national sales strategy across half of the country.
• Take ownership of sales performance, forecasting, and strategic business planning for the Area, aligning with National expectations and the Senior Vice President of Sales.
• Drive robust and ongoing development and engagement with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), fostering and sustaining strategic relationships with leading KOLs in the Area to enhance business and support Yutrepia's growth.
• Dedicate 30-50% of your time in the field with customers, RBDs, and sales representatives, demonstrating exemplary selling techniques and coaching practices.
• Facilitate connections between key customers and KOLs with Liquidia executives in Market Access, Medical Affairs, Marketing, and other relevant functions.
• Collaborate with the Senior Vice President of Sales on national strategies, providing insights at the Area level regarding market dynamics, competitive landscape, and growth opportunities.
• Establish and nurture effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders within the Liquidia commercial organization.
• Engage in new-hire training, launch meetings, National/POA sales meetings, and the continuous training and development of RBDs and their teams.
• Formulate and execute Area business plans while managing the Area budget in accordance with Regional and National expectations.
• Maintain clinical and technical knowledge to accurately address inquiries related to products, marketing, policy, and business matters.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, policies, and procedures.
• Carry out additional job-related responsibilities as required by business needs.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
• Over 15 years of Commercial experience, encompassing sales, marketing, market access, and/or sales training experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in Cardiology, Pulmonary, or rare disease sales.
• Preferably 3+ years of experience in building, leading, and developing sales leaders (managing managers).
• Established relationships with PAH-HCP and KOLs are strongly preferred.
• Proven track record of delivering exceptional results at scale and nurturing others, including sales leaders, to reach their potential.
• Experience with product launches is highly preferred.
• Background in formally coaching sales managers/directors in the field.
• Experience in developing and implementing Area or multi-region business plans.
• Background in creating and leading sales training programs and National sales meetings.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple regions and priorities simultaneously under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in deriving insights from analytics, both interpreting reports and conducting analyses using CRM and Excel.
• Experience with Specialty Pharmacy distributed therapies is preferred.
• Background in strategizing within cross-functional teams and senior leadership, leveraging diverse resources to meet business objectives.
• Willingness and capability to travel extensively (30-50% field-based) across a multi-region Area.
