This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +3 more states.
• Achieve technical expertise in OMICRON products and solutions.
• Build, nurture, and sustain customer relationships for designated accounts and sectors.
• Oversee and assist manufacturers' representatives in the Southwest Territory, including training, forecasting, and evaluating performance.
• Organize customer visits and related activities.
• Showcase and demonstrate products, technologies, and testing methodologies.
• Offer post-sale customer assistance.
• Engage in business development, market assessment, and sales forecasting.
• Document and maintain customer meetings, leads, opportunities, and activities in the CRM system following the OMICRON Sales process.
• Liaise with OMICRON Sales managers and stakeholders, sharing customer and market insights, and reporting status during team meetings.
• Organize promotional events and take part in conferences, user meetings, seminars, and local exhibitions.
• Report directly to the Sales Manager, North America (West).
• Complete assigned responsibilities and support additional initiatives and tasks as needed.
• A Bachelor's degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering; or a certification in electronic or electrical technical education, equivalent work experience, or military background is required.
• At least 2 years of experience in power systems, particularly in power system protection or high-voltage equipment.
• A minimum of 1 year of sales experience in selling testing equipment, instrumentation, or devices for the electric power sector.
• Technical understanding of power generation, transmission, and distribution systems and their associated equipment.
• In-depth knowledge of testing methods and maintenance practices for dependable power systems.
• A background in testing is preferable.
• Capability to present products, technologies, and testing methodologies to technicians, engineers, supervisors, managers, and executives.
• Proficient in conducting on-site product demonstrations with or without Application Engineers.
• Familiarity with the business processes of electric-power companies, government agencies, manufacturers, and industrial consumers in the North American market.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Exceptional writing, speaking, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
• Willingness to travel domestically up to 50%; international travel may also be required.
• Ability to see, hear, speak, and write clearly for effective customer communication.
• Manual dexterity for occasional reaching, lifting objects over 50 pounds, and operating office equipment.
