DELMIA Application Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with sales representatives during customer meetings, strategizing, and demonstrations.

• Showcase CATIA V5 and DELMIA NC machining capabilities both in-person and online to diverse audiences, technical and non-technical alike.

• Illustrate the significance of machining in the context of the broader 3DEXPERIENCE workflow.

• Organize and present seminars that range from high-level overviews to in-depth technical sessions.

• Conduct both standard and customized NC fundamentals training sessions, available in-person or online.

• Assist in troubleshooting customer challenges related to installation, programming, tooling, and machine simulation in collaboration with the support team.

• Visit customer facilities to gain insights into their equipment, parts, and programming methodologies.

• Relay customer feedback to technical colleagues to enhance service and product offerings.

• Develop videos or tutorials that demonstrate software capabilities.

• Stay updated on machining technologies and competing CAM solutions.

• Achieve proficiency in machine simulation, validation, and automation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must reside in the USA.

• Practical experience in CNC programming utilizing CATIA V5 machining workbenches.

• Experience with DELMIA machining on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform is particularly advantageous.

• Skill in transforming explicit or implicit customer requirements into precise, relevant technical demonstrations.

• Confidence in presenting technical content and independently preparing for customer discussions.

• Solid understanding of CNC machining principles, including cutting tools, workholding, and machine setup.

• Familiarity with milling processes; knowledge of turning, mill-turn, machine simulation, NC code generation, or post-processors is beneficial.

• Willingness to travel up to 25% for customer-facing events and seminars.
