Sales Application Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Identify and cultivate new business opportunities with prospective customers in the assigned territory.

• Oversee key accounts for significant existing clients.

• Acquire new customers for the sensor product range across industrial, medical, and transportation sectors.

• Introduce new products in collaboration with product management and development teams.

• Maintain direct communication and manage relationships with customers.

• Offer technical assistance to clients.

• Comprehend sensor applications and customer needs.

• Expand current customer accounts and enhance business partnerships.

• Establish new business connections within customer accounts.

• Become a trusted consultant for key clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or physics, or equivalent years of successful experience as a developer, product manager, applications engineer, or technical sales representative in the sensor field.

• Minimum of 3 years of pertinent experience in the sensor industry.

• Proficiency in selling pressure or flow sensors or sensor components.

• Familiarity with sales tracking software.

• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication abilities.

• Exceptional organizational skills.

• Capability to address commercial and technical objections from potential clients/customers.

• Problem-solving skills and the ability to manage a range of variables.

• Willingness to work hours aligned with the Eastern Time Zone.

• Ability to work autonomously in a technical and success-driven role.
