Sales Application Engineer – East US

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Create and cultivate new business opportunities with prospective clients in the assigned region

• Oversee key accounts for significant existing clients

• Acquire new clients for the sensor product range across industrial, medical, and transportation sectors

• Introduce new products in collaboration with product management and development teams

• Maintain direct engagement with customers and manage relationships effectively

• Offer technical assistance and comprehend customers’ sensor applications and needs

• Boost sales by expanding current customer accounts, enhancing business partnerships, and establishing new relationships

• Establish yourself as a trusted advisor to pivotal customers

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or physics

• Alternatively, possess several years of proven experience as a developer, product manager, applications engineer, or technical sales representative within the sensor sector

• Minimum of 3 years of pertinent experience in the sensor industry

• Proficiency in selling pressure or flow sensors or related sensor components

• Familiarity with sales tracking software

• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication abilities

• Exceptional organizational skills

• Capable of addressing commercial and technical objections from potential clients/customers

• Proficient in problem-solving and managing a range of variables

• Willingness to work hours aligned with the Eastern Time Zone

• Passion for independent, technical, and results-driven work
