Sales Application Engineer – East US

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Identify and cultivate new business opportunities with prospective clients within the assigned territory.

• Oversee key accounts for significant existing clients.

• Acquire new customers for the sensor product line across industrial, medical, and transportation sectors.

• Introduce new products in collaboration with product management and development teams.

• Maintain direct communication with customers and manage ongoing relationships.

• Offer technical assistance to clients.

• Comprehend sensor applications and the specific requirements of customers.

• Expand current customer accounts and enhance business collaborations.

• Establish new business connections within client accounts.

• Become a trusted advisor for key customers.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or physics, or alternatively significant experience as a developer, product manager, applications engineer, or technical sales representative within the sensor industry.

• A minimum of 3 years of applicable experience in the sensor industry.

• Proficiency in selling pressure or flow sensors, or sensor components.

• Familiarity with sales tracking software.

• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.

• Strong organizational abilities.

• Capability to address commercial and technical objections from potential clients/customers.

• Problem-solving skills with the ability to manage a variety of variables.

• Availability to work hours aligned with the Eastern Time Zone.

• This is a remote position based in the United States.
