Sales Application Engineer – East US

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Identify and cultivate new business opportunities with prospective clients within the assigned territory.

• Oversee key accounts for significant existing clients.

• Acquire new customers for the sensor product lineup across industrial, medical, and transportation sectors.

• Introduce new products in collaboration with product management and development teams.

• Maintain direct communication with customers and manage relationships effectively.

• Offer technical support while comprehending customers' sensor applications and requirements.

• Boost sales by enhancing existing customer accounts, expanding business partnerships, and establishing new business connections.

• Establish yourself as a trusted advisor to key customers.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or physics; alternatively, significant experience as a developer, product manager, applications engineer, or technical sales representative in the sensor sector.

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the sensor industry.

• Proficiency in selling pressure or flow sensors or sensor components.

• Familiarity with sales tracking software.

• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication abilities.

• Strong organizational competencies.

• Capability to address commercial and technical objections from potential clients/customers.

• Proficient problem-solving skills and ability to navigate a variety of variables.

• Willingness to work hours that align with the Eastern Time Zone.
