This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Assist sales teams by offering shelf-space recommendations for large-format clients.
• Lead initiatives with Canadian retailers.
• Analyze category data and create impactful presentations.
• Evaluate Nielsen, SPINS, and retailer portal information.
• Review new Planogram assortments and suggest modifications.
• Examine retailer portals and deliver performance and market share assessments.
• Develop sales presentations incorporating competitive insights and business-case opportunities.
• Collaborate with retailer dashboards.
• Oversee new item setup and manage retailer data portals.
• Support new product and retailer launches, including administrative tasks and Planogram evaluations.
• Offer launch recommendations and assess category performance.
• Handle daily administrative responsibilities and ongoing data analysis.
• Organize category data and ensure that files and presentation decks are accurate and up-to-date.
• Conduct weekly Point of Sale data analysis across major retailers.
• Manage new item forms and retailer portals.
• Update and create product presentations for sales teams.
• Oversee new item data and provide continuous launch support.
• 3–5+ years of experience in category management; experience in the CPG industry is advantageous.
• A background in data analysis is beneficial.
• Strong understanding of data collection, Planogram assortments, and Modular software.
• Extensive experience with Nielsen, SPINS, IRI, and other category data platforms.
• Proficient in dashboard creation, software evaluation, data consolidation, market intelligence support, Retail Link, LDIA, and similar retailer platforms.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Planogram management tools, and retail Planogram software.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
• Capable of multitasking, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines.
• Able to collaborate across functions and influence others without direct authority.
• Possess an entrepreneurial spirit and adaptability as the business evolves.
• Independent thinker and self-starter who can work with minimal oversight.
• Strong communication and responsiveness with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Ability to provide executive leadership with pertinent business insights and information.
• Experience in business process development and continuous improvement.
• Bilingual skills in French and English are preferred.
• Participate in clubs, group workouts, races, and sporting events.
