This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with airline stakeholders and global operations teams to support account management, sales, and service functions.
• Provide ongoing proactive oversight of operations, tools, and staff coordination to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the sales team.
• Cultivate and sustain professional relationships with customer representatives, kitchen units, and internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate with pricing, billing, procurement, industrial engineering, and data departments to ensure data integrity and timely execution of tasks.
• Oversee bid activities, complete tenders, evaluate inquiries, support pricing strategies, conduct bid analysis, and present final RFP submissions.
• Manage the implementation of contractual CPI across regions and brands in collaboration with local finance teams.
• Oversee the GG Canada & International SLA program.
• Assist with review calls, menu presentations, cycle changes, and start-ups across Canada, the US, and international operations.
• Maintain accurate records, meeting notes, performance-management documentation, and escalate issues to the appropriate parties.
• Support KPI early-indicator tools to enhance operational performance and minimize financial penalties.
• Monitor unit performance and proactively escalate issues to uphold quality service standards.
• Conduct ad hoc data analysis and generate reports, including profitability reports for the ZRH commercial team.
• Maintain flight-data analysis tools and provide catering locations with relevant flight statistics.
• Oversee substitutions, pricing management, and billing audits.
• Facilitate daily customer and operational activities, customer management, and customer development.
• Act as the primary point of contact for customer relationship management.
• Develop, manage, distribute, and communicate customer data influencing Gate Gourmet operations and customer groups.
• Maintain internal and external customer performance reports as well as the customer portfolio.
• Undertake special projects and perform additional duties as assigned by management.
• Bachelor’s Degree or 6 years of equivalent work experience in Sales and Service, preferably in airline and/or airline catering.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in Sales, with a preference for airline and/or airline catering experience.
• Previous project management experience is preferred.
• Experience in a food-related industry is preferred.
• Experience with customer account management and performance is required.
• A background in finance, revenue management, and/or pricing is preferred but not essential.
• Proficiency in Power BI.
• Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, are required.
• Strong analytical, data analysis, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
• Excellent organizational and/or project management skills.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication, as well as presentation skills.
• Experience in large-scale catering operations or logistics, particularly airline catering, is preferred.
• Background in sales and/or customer service, specifically in Account Management.
• Ability to adapt roles and responsibilities as business needs evolve.
• Capable of working effectively in a team environment, demonstrating strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
