This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Promote and sell Teledyne LABS products, which include preparative chromatography, pumps, dissolution and diffusion products, autosamplers, Mercury analysis, TOC, VOC, and GC-Sample Prep.
• Identify, generate, and cultivate new customer relationships with end-users.
• Evaluate and showcase potential applications of company products or services, offering tailored solutions to meet customer needs.
• Establish new accounts and grow existing ones within environmental, pharmaceutical, contract research, oil and gas, and university research laboratories.
• Increase awareness and demand for the company's products.
• Achieve the territory target for each fiscal year.
• Create and maintain a territory sales strategy focusing on key accounts and promotional activities, including seminars, product exhibitions, and mailings.
• Profile and penetrate key accounts by developing comprehensive account profiles.
• Gain an understanding of customer organizations by department, function, strategies, and key programs.
• Master the fundamental features and advantages of primary products.
• Identify and target new and existing applications for Teledyne products.
• Demonstrate the basic operation of products.
• Utilize sales resources effectively, including applications engineers, inside sales representatives, and customer service representatives.
• Be available during evenings and weekends as needed to achieve goals and meet deadlines.
• A Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from a four-year college or university in a relevant field, along with 2–5 years of directly related experience in selling laboratory equipment and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Preference will be given to candidates with experience in chromatography methodology and regulatory labs.
• Proficient in reading, analyzing, and interpreting business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations.
• Capable of writing reports, business correspondence, and procedural manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to inquiries from managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
• Basic proficiency in Salesforce.com, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook.
• Adhere to all import/export regulations and consult with facility import/export personnel as necessary.
• Ability to work remotely and independently with minimal direct supervision.
• Self-motivated with a focus on achieving sales goals.
• Sufficient space within personal residence to establish a home office.
• US Citizenship is required.
• Willingness to travel domestically approximately 60% of the time, including overnight stays.
