Sales Account Manager – Total Account Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Oversee and expand assigned accounts within the consumables, services, and instrumentation sectors.

• Propel product sales while nurturing customer relationships.

• Recognize business opportunities to drive overall account expansion.

• Hold accountability for designated accounts or an entire specified territory.

• Acquire new accounts and oversee the management of current ones.

• Enhance business through upselling and cross-selling efforts across the Agilent portfolio.

• Dedicate more than 50% of your time engaging with customers throughout the sales process.

• Collaborate with Product/Market Specialists, Pre-Sales AE/FAS/TSS, and other departments to facilitate sales activities and provide technical support.

• Ensure customer contentment with services and support.

• Cultivate robust relationships within accounts.

• Generate revenue from both new and existing accounts.

• Create a strong funnel of opportunities.

• Deliver consistent performance across various product lines.

• Foster customer satisfaction and retention.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree, or equivalent qualification.

• Post-graduate qualifications, certifications, and/or licenses may be necessary.

• Generally, a minimum of 4+ years of relevant experience is required for entry at this level.

• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.

• Consultative and value-oriented sales methodology.

• Proven experience in managing and growing assigned accounts across consumables, services, and instrumentation sectors.

• Capability to drive product sales, develop customer relationships, identify business opportunities, and achieve account growth.

• Proficiency in acquiring new accounts and managing existing ones.

• Skill in upselling and cross-selling products.

• Ability to coordinate with Product/Market Specialists and Pre-Sales AE/FAS/TSS, among other functions.

• Competence in supporting opportunity development, solution formulation, negotiation and closure, onboarding and implementation, as well as relationship management.
