Sage X3 Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Serve as the main point of contact and trusted advisor for clients throughout the duration of the project.

• Establish and nurture long-term relationships with client stakeholders.

• Manage client communications and deliver strategic updates.

• Ensure project execution aligns with client objectives and leads to successful outcomes.

• Oversee the transition to post-implementation support.

• Identify opportunities for additional services or solutions.

• Create project plans that encompass timelines, milestones, budgets, deliverables, and resources.

• Guide team onboarding and facilitate both internal and client-facing kickoff meetings.

• Direct project execution within defined scope, timelines, and budgets.

• Distribute and coordinate tasks among cross-functional teams.

• Review and authorize project time entries.

• Manage project financials, including revenue recognition and budget tracking.

• Facilitate the discovery, scoping, development, and delivery of change requests.

• Track project progress and modify plans and workflows as necessary.

• Oversee third-party project deliverables.

• Act as the liaison for both internal and external stakeholders.

• Conduct project status meetings and provide status summaries, meeting recaps, and recordings.

• Maintain project plans, timelines, budgets, and documentation.

• Offer updates to clients and executive leadership.

• Identify, evaluate, and resolve project issues and risks.

• Escalate risks and implement strategies for mitigation.

• Ensure deliverables adhere to quality standards and client expectations.

• Lead project closure meetings and manage transitions to support teams.

• Document lessons learned and contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives.

• Recommend enhancements to administrative and operational processes.

• Participate in process analysis, redesign, and initiatives aimed at organizational effectiveness.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 4 years of progressive experience in leading ERP implementation projects for Sage X3 or comparable ERP solutions (SAP, Oracle, Epicor, Infor, Syspro, ProccessPRO, MS Dynamics).

• Proven success in managing end-to-end ERP projects within Process Manufacturing or Distribution Manufacturing sectors.

• Demonstrated capability to deliver projects on time, within budget, and according to scope.

• Strong foundation in project management principles.

• Comprehensive understanding of ERP concepts.

• Experience in process manufacturing or distribution manufacturing is preferred.

• Proven history of meeting business objectives and achieving key performance metrics.

• A Bachelor’s degree is required.

• PMP Certification is mandatory.

• Willingness to travel at least 20% to client locations across the US.

• May require customer approval for access to client information, systems, or facilities.
