This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee a large number of projects with stringent and often changing timelines.
• Consistently refresh, accurately prioritize, and align project timelines with the dynamic needs of customers and operations.
• Cultivate a thorough understanding of project scope, essential milestones, and timelines to establish and uphold detailed, realistic project schedules.
• Engage with high-level stakeholders through verbal updates, formal presentations, and cross-functional meetings.
• Keep project tracking tools current by updating accurate schedule dates, contact information, and pertinent project details.
• Promptly escalate risks or issues when milestone dates or deliverables are at risk.
• Seek opportunities to optimize processes, enhance operational efficiency, and support consistent performance.
• Execute risk mitigation strategies based on site conditions, resource availability, and customer milestones.
• Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to collect scheduling inputs, including milestone targets, dependencies, and resource limitations.
• Identify and document scheduling risks, recommending mitigation strategies to ensure progress and timely delivery.
• Execute additional duties and responsibilities as assigned or required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing high-volume, fast-paced projects with changing deadlines.
• Strong grasp of project management principles, scheduling methodologies, and milestone tracking.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present to and collaborate with high-level stakeholders.
• Proficient in project management and tracking tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, Excel, or similar platforms.
• Excellent organizational skills; capable of prioritizing tasks, managing competing deadlines, and maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to identify risks, evaluate impacts, and formulate effective mitigation strategies.
• Proven problem-solving skills and the capacity to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Established ability to foster strong cross-functional relationships and work collaboratively with both internal and external partners.
• Continuous improvement mindset with the ability to analyze processes and suggest enhancements for efficiency.
• A college degree, trade school education, or equivalent experience.
• An associate's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in electronic, fire alarm & life safety, building automation, and/or AV systems is preferred.
• Project Management Institute (PMI) certification is preferred.
• Industry-specific certifications and/or licenses are a plus.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
